STRATEGY & STRATEGIC PLANS

Strategy underpins the development of any plan – it sets the direction, identifies the priorities and drives the energy and action of the organisation. PDF works closely with customers to build a clear strategy for success, and supports the organisation to chart a course that is both aspirational and achievable.

The strategic plan documents the strategy and the actions needed to achieve it. PDF has specialist expertise in facilitating, developing and writing strategic plans for diverse sectors and industries. They include superannuation, fire services, nursing and teachers’ registration boards, electricity suppliers, health and education providers, fire services, the community sector and state and local governments. We have developed management plans that support the strategic plan including governance, risk, communication, stakeholder, implementation and business plans.

We are also experienced in researching and developing a range of other plans and strategies that often cascade from the strategic plan and provide the impetus for action. PDF has developed strategies that address specific issues or life stages, including early years and young people, as well as community safety, road safety, arts and cultural events, physical activity, and food security.

CONSULTATION & ENGAGEMENT

PDF consultants are expert facilitators who engage with communities and organisations to bring out the best ideas and information. We design inclusive processes, excel at community consultation and bring a future focus, encouraging participants to consider how to factor tomorrow’s needs into today’s decisions.

We support our facilitation with research into the subject matter and the direction of the industry or sector, and develop, deploy and analyse surveys where required to provide more comprehensive input to decision-making.
