Apply good practice

GUIDES, TOOLKITS AND TEMPLATES

Knowing what to do and how to do it can be greatly enhanced by the availability of easy-to-follow guides, toolkits or templates.  These resources also provide important assistance in unfamiliar circumstances and where behaviour change is sought. They step out appropriate or required approaches that are accessible and consistent. They build confidence for people stepping into new areas of responsibility or action, and often contain frequently asked questions (FAQs).

PDF builds its guides, templates and toolkits around extensive consultation with end-users and stakeholders, using both subject matter experts and practical experience. We have expertise in a range of subjects and ensure easy access to resources through downloadable resources via websites, and provision in electronic and hard copy media.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

PDF recognises that the development of resources and reference material is not the whole story. We actively engage with organisations and individuals to transfer the application of our resource material and to further build the capability and capacity to deliver good practice.

We purpose-design workshops that engage participants in action learning, and mentor and coach individuals and teams in the application of our resources. Our in-depth knowledge of the subject matter, together with our inclusive style and ability to transfer skills and knowledge, contributes to the development of skilled professionals and increased organisational performance.

TRAINING

PDF training programs are designed and facilitated to quality training standards. Our training expertise exceeds the minimum standard of Certificate IV Training and Assessment and we have a track record as highly effective facilitators. We apply adult learning principles and experiential learning processes to assure individual and organisational learning outcomes.

PDF develops resources and learning materials that support the training experience that are succinct, easy-to-read and reinforce key learning outcomes.

Training is not an end in itself. We see training as one input toward meeting the organisation’s needs through a broader and more holistic skill development agenda which develops the organisation and increases its capacity.
